Exactly a week ago from today was the very much anticipated AFWL. It was a burst of fashion, trends and creativity as emerging fashion designers and models lit the runway with their unique offering. This would be the 7th edition of the African inspired show and it did not disappoint. The stats were impressive with over 5000 visitors, over 50 exhibitors and 42 designers from 15 African Nations. The 2017 show was held at the prestigious Freemasons’ Hall in Central London. The organisers did a pretty good job of following the schedule and ensuring all attendees enjoyed every aspect of the show. We anticipate the 2018 edition and hopefully DC should take a more active role in supporting Europe’s largest African-Inspired Event. Thanking every one who allowed us take their picture and for receiving us with open arms, so sorry that I couldn’t catch all your names.

Enjoy pictures below, from runway, to street style and exhibitors.
